Sign up to receive neighborhood alerts for police activity, street closings, utility outages, and more at DC.gov. For example, in a snow emergency, parking is not allowed on Constitution Avenue. An alert will warn you to move your car before it is towed.

In addition to DC's public safety agencies, the area around the Telephone Company Condo is often patrolled by the Capitol Police, charged with protecting the Capitol and members of Congress, and the National Park Service, which has responsibility for Capitol Hill Parks, including the Folger, Lincoln, Stanton, and Marion Parks, the Eastern Market and Potomac Avenue Metro stations, and several smaller land parcels such as Seward Square, Twining Square, the Maryland Avenue Triangles, the Pennsylvania Avenue Medians, and 59 inner-city triangles and squares.
